Our company, founded as “Delectables by Betty” was purchased over 30 years ago by Jeff Simpson and Nick Adams.  Both were chefs and graduates of the Culinary Institute of America and went on to work for Hyatt Hotels, where they met.  A natural team, they purchased a small catering company from Betty and renamed it “Delectables Fine Catering.”

Delectables Fine Catering has grown to be one of the Tampa Bay Region’s most respected and best catering companies, under the leadership of Jeff, Nick and Laurie Simpson.

In 2022 the partners decided that it was time to retire and hand over the reigns to a new generation.  Kevin Lacassin formed “Define Hospitality” took over as the new owner in April of 2022; under his leadership we look forward to living up to Jeff and Nick’s reputation and taking Delectables to the next level.

Our company is and has always been chef driven and culinary focused.  We focus on producing the highest quality food at a great value and we believe we are the best in the business.
